The Penguins were a race of penguins in the South Pole and were also a recurring gag and recurring characters in Pearls. They first appeared in the collection, King of the Comics and in the treasury Pearls Gets Sacrificed. When they first appeared they were mostly just characters Stephan could easily kill off in just one comic, similar to The Crocs, but except of having basically a million of them that could have the same name, when they first appeared there was only 2 of them (and only one killed) and after that only one penguin would die each comic due to the Polar Bear.

Ollie[]
Ollie was the first penguin to be seen in Pearls. He was a friend of Pig's who would send him letters, only for Rat to make a good point that when the letter would get to the South Pole how would they be able to know who the letter's for because penguins all look the same, but at same time, Ollie has a protective Mom who makes him wear scarves, mittens, boots, winter hats and winter jackets.
Ollie's Mother[]
Ollie's Mother was a one time character in the strip and was Ollie's overprotective mother as she made him wear winter clothes and full-on swinsuits when Ollie would want to go swimming, even though she would never wore thoes clothes herself.
Penguin Husband[]
The Unnamed Penguin Husband was a very smart penguin who was married to a very dumb and ignorant wife who would fall for the Polar Bear's traps that were easy to see as traps. But after the husband taking forever to get food, his wife cut a hole in the middle of the ice they were standing and was eaten by the Polar Bear, but it did not seem to affect the husband that much.
Penguin Wife[]
The Unnamed Penguin Wife was an ignorant and gullible penguin who was married to a very smart husband. She was a very picky and bumbarding wife who would always tell her husband to get some food even though there was a polar bear in the water who would have eaten him, but that was unknown to the wife as she fell for all of the Polar Bear's traps and she even accidentally made her own trap for her which killed her.
Column Penguins[]
The Column Penguins were 3 penguins standing on top of eachother so they wouldn't get killed by the Polar Bear, until when the Polar bear shook the chunk of ice the penguin on the top fell off and was eaten.
Morty[]
Morty was a very selfless and helpful penguin who was always taken atventage of by his wife, and after he lost her (in a sea of penguins) Morty and his best friend Saul, started a movement so everyone could tell you everyone was, but after this failed he and Saul were adopted by the crocs, who tried to them mistaking them for Oreos. But when they escaped they started a band who played banjo called the "Peppy Peppy Penguins".
Morty's Child[]
Morty once had a one time child who was still in an egg while Morty had to watch over him, but the child most likely hatched off-screen.
Morty's Wife[]
Morty's Wife was a very picky and annoying penguin who was the wife of Morty. While Morty was looking over their child, his wife was on a beach with a pawn tree while drinking cocktails, later in the strip we see that Morty's wife had went missing and was never seen agian after that.
Joe[]
Joe was a very loving one time penguin who tried to suprise his wife with flowers for their anniversary, only for Joe to accidentally go up to a random penguin and give them the flowers and call them his wife.
Saul[]
Saul is an adventurous and loyal penguin who is close friends with Morty. After Morty loses his wife in a sea of penguins, Morty and Saul start a movement so everyone can know who everyone is. But since all of the penguins are a pain in the rear, the movement fails and they both set up themselves for adoption only to be adopted by the crocs who only adopted them was because they wanted to eat them, and after Morty and Saul escape they get a job as banjo players in a band they called the "Peppy Peppy Penguins".
Fred[]
Fred was a penguin who enjoyed the music genre Polka, and attempted to play it to the Polar Bear in order to calm it, only for him one of Fred's friends kicks him into the mouth of the beast because he hated polka that much.
