Pearls Before Swine Wiki

Robert, better known as Neighbor Bob, by his neighbors, is a recurring character in Pearls Before Swine. Both Rat and Guard Duck constantly antagonize him. He has also had different hair over the years, with having black and orange hair in the early years, until having black sideburns until eventually becoming bald.

Personality[]

Bob is shown to be short-tempered and somewhat cynical. He pressures his son, Willy to be an "A+" student who has to study all the time and also has to get into the top-tier college, Ivy League School, get a degree, become rich and retire at 65. Not only that but he is also very rude to Rat, even though Rat hates Bob, most of time, Rat isn't even rude to Bob and is really only a little annoying. But besides this, Bob is sometimes nice, caring and can get reasonably upset.

History[]

Neighbor Bob was first mentioned in Sgt. Piggy's Lonely Hearts Club Comic with Rat and Pig watching him argue with his wife. Bob hadn't really been seen until between The Ratvolution Will Not Be Televised and Da Brudderhood of Zeeba Zeeba Eata. In the treasury Pearls Blows Up, it was revealed In later years we have seen Guard Duck having wars with Bob and even trying to shoot his house with a giant gun. Even though it is not shown or told, in Pearls Falls Fast has revealed to have a son he named Willy, a black haired boy who is stressed about school in the future, and that his wife left him possibly because they would always get in arguments and in 2020 also revealing to have a daughter named Rachel, which was the same time we learned that Neighbor Bob's family is Jewish.
