Kiko the Lonely Cactus was a recurring Pearls character. He was a cactus that lived in Pig and Rat's House who always wanted to be hugged but since he was a cactus Rat didn't hug him, but Pig did. He appeared in Larry in Wonderland and was on the cover of When Pigs Fly. He was brought into the house by Pig who adopted him because he felt bad for him, where Rat explained to him and Kiko that no one wanted to hug him because he was a cactus which made Kiko turn to Pig and said "I told you personality counts for nothing". We also see that in one strip, Kiko was happy, we then see Pig covered with prickles telling Rat that he made him happy.
