Hy and Hy, or simply The Hyenas (Debut: May 8, 2003) are recurring characters in the Pearls franchise. They run a business called "Hy & Hy's Funeral Home" that is a funeral home were they eat the dead family members of their prey. They first appeared in Sgt. Piggy's Lonely Hearts Club Comic. Their only customers in the entire comic strip were Zebra and an unnamed antelope. They started their business in the end Pearls Sells Out and the beginning Pearls Blows Up.
Personalities[]
Hy (in the front)[]
The Hy in the front seems to be the smartest of the two. Unlike their counterparts, the Crocodiles, Hy doesn't kill for a boost of his ego but instead because he just wants to eat. Hy is also seen being sorry for when he does something selfish such as when he stalks the Zebra.
Hy (in the back)[]
The Hy in the back seems to be very arrogant unlike his brother. Most of the time, he is only there just to eat something. He also constantly ruins their schemes and also does it in a very disrespectful way. Despite this, he still feels regret to when he makes people mad, especially Zebra.

Zebra[]
In their first appearance, Hy and Hy tricked Zebra into thinking that they were a zebra that was being teased by the hyenas. But when the two eventually moved, they were made into fools after they realized that Zebra was highly more intelligent then them. After failing to eat him over and over again, they eventually gave up.
Unidentified Antelope[]
Unlike Zebra, the unidentified antelope fell for Hy and Hy's scheme until one of them made a mockery of the antelope's uncle's skull.
